Power’s Swedish Stores Now Connected to Recipo

As of May 1st, Power’s 29 electronics stores in Sweden are connected to Recipo as their producer responsibility organization. This marks the first step toward consolidating producer responsibility matters for the rapidly growing retail chain’s stores across Denmark, Sweden, and Finland.

“Far too many electronics retailers are drowning in paperwork and reporting requirements that steal time and resources from real environmental work. Recipo wants to make it easy to meet legal obligations across the Nordic region and take responsibility for proper recycling,” says Hugo Chorell, Marketing Manager at Recipo.

Power sees several benefits in centralizing its producer responsibility arrangements across the Nordic market, where it operates 269 stores and employs 6,000 people. One key advantage is the significant reduction in administrative workload.
